Peace is fragile it needs constant nurturing. This peace has been shattered in every part of the world for several reasons, including territorial basis, racism, and a superiority complex. In such a chaotic situation, human life cannot be normalized. 

In this case, education needs a conducive and peaceful atmosphere without compromising anything. Moreover, an inclusive classroom includes students with many abilities, skills, and intelligence. This diversity presents significant challenges for educators, but disruptive behavior should improve students\\\' progress. Managing problematic behaviors can frustrate teachers, but learning to handle them is essential to the teaching profession.

In the developing world, students aspire to secure scholarships from English-speaking universities in Europe and other parts of the world. However, they must undertake thorough research and credible analysis before beginning this journey. While every system has its merits, the education system in these nations often appears to favor the elite class, with rich courses dominating the curriculum.

Moreover, they have controlled two systems: one for the wealthy and the other for the poor. The former class has a massive advantage in every aspect of life, but the latter lacks everything. The dominant class controls the dissent of the dominating class. 

Getting study abroad scholarships is one of the phenomenal dreams of Pakistani students. Pakistan is one of the largest countries in the world in terms of the youth bulge. Significant publications stated that 64% of the population is youth ranging from 17 to 30 years of age, including males and females. In this case, both have different opinions on opting for the profession and socially constructed dynamics. According to state-affiliated press, over 22 million children are out of school. 

Male and female career choices often reflect societal norms, personal interests, and perceived gender roles, leading many females to opt for the medical profession and many males to pursue engineering. This trend can be attributed to a combination of historical, cultural, and psychological factors that influence educational and career decisions from an early age.

One significant reason females are drawn to the medical profession is the nurturing and caregiving nature traditionally associated with women. Society often expects women to be empathetic, compassionate, and patient, qualities that align well with careers in healthcare. Professions such as nursing, pediatrics, and general medicine are seen as extensions of these caregiving roles, providing women with a sense of fulfillment and alignment with their perceived societal roles.

Additionally, the medical profession offers numerous opportunities for flexible working hours and part-time work, which can appeal to women who may plan to balance their careers with family responsibilities. The predictability and stability of medical careers also provide a secure pathway for women seeking long-term professional satisfaction without compromising personal life goals.

On the other hand, boys often gravitate towards engineering due to its association with problem-solving, innovation, and technical skills, which are highly valued in many cultures for men. From a young age, boys are encouraged to engage with technology, mathematics, and sciences, fostering an interest in fields that involve building and creating. Engineering, focusing on designing solutions and advancing technology, appeals to these early-developed interests.

In Pakistan, students crave admission to the MBBS ( Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) without thinking of a promising future with a great outcome. In this sense, the Government of Pakistan must compensate students whose names haven’t been shortlisted in the merit list of government medical colleges. 

Brain Drain and Study Abroad

Brain drain refers to the phenomenon of highly educated and skilled individuals leaving their home country to pursue better opportunities abroad. This migration typically involves professionals such as scientists, engineers, doctors, and academics who seek improved living conditions, higher salaries, better working environments, and more advanced career opportunities in other countries.

Causes of Brain Drain:

Economic Factors: One primary reason for brain drain is the disparity in economic opportunities between countries. Skilled professionals often migrate from developing or underdeveloped countries to developed ones for higher incomes, better job prospects, and improved living standards.

Educational and Professional Opportunities: Access to advanced education, research facilities, and professional development opportunities can also drive brain drain. Many individuals seek to further their education or career in institutions that offer cutting-edge technology, funding, and academic freedom, which may not be available in their home countries.

Political and Social Stability: Political instability, corruption, and lack of personal safety can push professionals to leave their home countries. In contrast, stable, democratic countries with transparent governance and respect for human rights attract skilled individuals seeking a secure environment for themselves and their families.

Quality of Life: Factors such as healthcare, education, infrastructure, and overall quality of life play a significant role in brain drain. Professionals often move to countries where they can ensure a better future for themselves and their families regarding health, education, and social services.

Significantly, students, young professionals, IT technicians, and technical workers are going abroad without conducting proper research on foreign countries, which is alarming. Surviving in the mood of glamour life is not enough at all. The regime which took office in 2018 to 2022 in Pakistan has blacklisted several universities in Central Asia because those universities had not met international standards of medical dynamics. 

In 2022, then-Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has removed those medical universities from the list of black list. Unfortunately, the economic crunch and political instability are one the reasons of going out of Pakistan.

As per the latest unrest in Kyrgyzstan’s capital Bishkek, the unrest reportedly originated from an incident of harassment involving Egyptian female students. Tensions escalated after a video emerged on May 13, showing a confrontation between Kyrgyz students and Egyptian medical students.

Why did Pakistanis Choose Kyrgyzstan? 

According to the Kyrgyzstan Health Ministry, approximately 12,000 Pakistani students are currently studying in Kyrgyzstan, although the exact number in Bishkek is not immediately available.

Apart from Russia and Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan is also a popular destination for obtaining a medical degree, mainly due to its affordable tuition fees. Reportedly, an MBBS degree lasting 5–6 years, including clinical training, costs approximately Rs 22 lac in Kyrgyzstan.

The country offers various amenities that appeal to Pakistani MBBS students, including low living costs, favorable student-teacher ratios, and no entrance fees. Additionally, most medical institutions in Kyrgyzstan provide internationally recognized and accredited degrees by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Despite Russian being the official language, teaching is primarily conducted in English.

Despite this unrest, one has to shortlist countries for studying abroad on the basis of following principles and SOPs

• The student has to do good research on the cultural dynamics of the future abroad country
• Give it a focused read to the historical background
• Locals behavior toward foreigners and guests
• Norms, education system
• Lifestyle
• Past revolution, anarchic events
• Government machinery
• Law and order, safety and security
• Justice system
• Red flags for South American countries, Africa

The above checklists are the most significant points one has to write these points on the forehead. Otherwise, democratic countries are the best possible option for getting an education where cultural respect, moral authority, law and order, norms, and humanity are important in the thinking of English-speaking nations.
