Eligibility Criteria for the University of Auckland Excellence Scholarship Program:

Applicants must:

• Be international students.
• Be new students who have received an admission offer letter or English Language 
• Academy students who have received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission.
• Be enrolled in, or accepted into, the Summer Start International Program with a conditional or unconditional admission letter.
• Be enrolling or enrolled full-time in a Postgraduate Diploma, master’s degree, or undergraduate degree.
• Have a Grade Point Equivalent (GPE) of at least 6.00.
• Inform the scholarship office of any other scholarships, awards, or grants received besides this scholarship.
• Meet the merit criteria for this scholarship.
• Not be citizens or residents of New Zealand or Australia.
• Be enrolled in on-campus programs.
• Repay total fees if they do not complete at least 2 semesters at the University of Auckland after selection.
• Adhere to all the scholarship regulations.
