On the other hand, Manga are comics or graphic novels that come from Japan. Most manga follow a style that was developed in Japan in the late 19th century, though the form has deep roots in earlier Japanese art. In Japan, the term manga refers to both comics and cartooning, while outside Japan, it generally refers specifically to comics originally published in Japan.
So, the said award was first announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2007 to promote global understanding and exchange through widely accepted MANGA culture.
